Our Grant Programs

The Call to Effective Action (CEA) empowers innovative tutoring and individualized instruction models that have the potential to create a substantial impact on student reading and math outcomes, especially in historically underserved communities. Emphasizing scalability, grantees complete a research-driven evaluation of program impact as part of their collaboration with Accelerate.

The States Leading Recovery (SLR) grant program partners with state education agencies to identify strong tutoring models, offer subgrants to districts to adopt these models, and develop a regulatory framework to ease this adoption. SLR grantees develop criteria for eligible tutoring models, encourage adoption through district guidance and support, and participate in rigorous research to assess tutoring impact.
